How to Clean Flossy
Flossy is made of high-quality POM plastic and is easy to keep fresh.
For regular cleaning, simply rinse with warm water and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
For occasional deeper cleaning:
- Wipe with a mix of vinegar and water (50/50), then rinse and dry
- Use rubbing alcohol briefly, then rinse off and dry completely
Important: Avoid dishwashers, boiling water, bleach or harsh cleaners, high heat and chemicals can damage the material over time.

What is Flossy?
Flossy is a reusable dental flosser that makes flossing easier, smarter and more sustainable. It comes pre-loaded with 30 meters of floss and is refillable for life.
How do I change the floss?
Just pop up the stop-pin, push down the button on the handle, pull new floss – done. It takes less than 10 seconds. You can see full instructions above.
How long does the floss last?
A long time. You only need ~2cm per use, just the part between the tips. That means one 30m spool gives you up to 1,500 uses. That’s about 3 years if you floss once per day.
Is Flossy hygienic?
Yes! You can easily clean Flossy with warm soapy water or alcohol. It’s made of durable medical-grade plastic and designed to last.
Can I choose my own floss?
Yes, Flossy is compatible with most regular floss spools with a ~10mm center hole. But we also offer refills in our shop!
Is it safe for kids?
Yes! But we recommend Flossy for ages 6+ with supervision, since it has a built-in metal cutter.
